Family Friendly Place to Live

The communities we choose to live in as we raise children are arguably the most important; as they tend to be some of the places we live the longest.

Good schools are important, but they are not enough. Values change as we grow older.

As parents, we want the best possible education for our children. Kids need academic support at home just as much as schools need the resources and involvement from parents in the community. When families and schools work together to create a successful educational environment, neighborhoods maintain the desirable factors that help to keep your home investment from sinking under water.

North Carolina offers family fun with destinations and attractions for kids of all ages. You can visit Winslow’s Tavern, Deli, & Market. Every Wednesday from 4-9pm is Yappy Hour at Winslows Deli! Bring your pup along and and receive 10% off food purchases!

Also bring your kids this 10th of December for the Christmas Parade.  The Greenville Jaycees presents the ‘Southern Lights’ Christmas parade and ‘A Home for Christmas’ celebration benefiting Pitt County Foster Care Services on Saturday, December 10. ‘A Home for Christmas’ celebration held at Five Points Plaza beginning at 2pm with a parade at 5p.m. The parade begins at First St., travels down Evans St. to Reade Circle, returning to Third St. via Reade St.

More fun and exciting events this month!
