It’s a Pirate home football game weekend and it’s also the final installment of the 2013 Freeboot Friday music series.
Uptown Greenville, in conjunction with Wells Fargo, is pleased to announce that it will layer this Friday’slive-at-five style event with a Food Truck Rodeo. The Food Truck Rodeo brings an eclectic array of local and regional mobile food trucks together at the official pep rally for home football games. It’s fun on four wheels with vendors serving up their unique cuisine. Just about everything and anything that is served from a truck will be featured! So come hungry and be ready to boogie!
Freeboot Friday kicks off at 5:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at Five Points Plaza on the corner of 5th and Evans Street.
Twelve-year-old singer-songwriter Caroline Dare opens the event at 4:45 p.m., and at 7:00 p.m. the Pitt Pirates Robotics Team will put on a children’s robotic demonstration!
Throughout the event, little pirates can appreciate hula hooping, clowns and face painting, while bigger pirates can enjoy beer and wine in the grog garden. To top it all off, Motown/party band The Fabulous Bel Airs will headline the event. There’s no better way to celebrate the success of the 2013 Pirate Football season than at Freeboot Friday with Motown, robots and food trucks.
Pirates of all ages are invited to attend the official pep rally of ECU Home football games, FreebootFriday.
